We’ll have a winner and a runner-up from each of the following categories:

- Volunteering/department lifestyle/community/public education/fire prevention
- Wildland
- Management/officers/leadership
- Apparatus/equipment/tools
Last year, we received more than 1100 photos from the field, courtesy of the first-responder community. Hundreds of these entries have been featured in IAFC materials appearing in national publications and on the web.
Make your department proud! Send your photos along with your contact information and a brief description of the scene to photos@iafc.org by July 31. There is no limit on the number of entries.
