Subject:
Department of Defense Training Conference and the International Association of Fire Chiefs Fire-Rescue International Conference and Exhibition

I urge your support in encouraging your fire and emergency service professionals and other emergency responders to participate in the annual Department of Defense (DoD) Training Conference, scheduled for August 20-24, 2007, Atlanta, Georgia. The DoD Training Conference will be held in conjunction with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Fire-Rescue International.

This conference provides a unique opportunity for our DoD fire and emergency service professionals to meet with industry and government leaders, attend engaging and educational training sessions, and experience more than 600 exhibits displaying the latest fire fighting equipment and fire prevention technologies.

On Friday, August 24, the conference will culminate in the DoD Fire & Emergency Services Awards Banquet. This is the premier event to recognize the DoD’s finest fire departments, firefighters, fire officers, and heroism awardees.

Please urge your fire & emergency services personnel to take maximum advantage of this valuable training opportunity. My point of contact is:
