As researchers have helped the fire service better understand the science behind fire dynamics, a new language has developed including terms like heat flux, flow path and door control. This research is being incorporated into the fire service at all levels including company drills, department SOPs, training manuals and standards. This 1-hour online training will provide participants with an expanded knowledge of these terms and their science-based definitions.
