This webinar featured two of the numerous success stories from the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and American International Group, Inc. (AIG) 2016 Ready, Set, Go! (RSG) program outreach and fuels mitigation grants. The panelists discussed how they used the grant funding to implement creative wildfire preparedness programs in their community and the impact the programs have had on their residents.
South Metro Fire Rescue (Colorado) discussed their “Ready, Set, Goat!” program and the Virginia Department of Forestry discussed how they were able to stop a wildfire in its tracks, thanks to the grant funding.
