The FRI Research Symposium features forward-thinking presentations on the latest fire-based research and how it can be applied at the local level to improve fire service effectiveness. Leading researchers from around the world will present on topics that focus on:
- Health
- Leadership
- Operations
- Training and learning
Researchers will present relevant research in a format that fire service leaders can use to:
- Make decisions.
- Write policy or procedures.
- Gain a greater understanding of research topics that impact firefighters.
In addition to the presentation format, there will also be time where researchers and fire service leaders can interact informally to discuss the fire service-specific issues and needs.
