Join members of the SHS Section Board and speaker Don Abbott for the third Coffee with SHS Session.
The 60-minute event will be held via Microsoft Teams on Saturday, January 23, at 11:00 AM ET. There will be 25-minutes of focused discussion, led by Don Abbott, followed by 35 minutes of Q&A with session participants.
You must be a member of the IAFC to participate in the event.
Registration is limited - the first 225 members to sign up will be provided with the information to join after their membership has been confirmed. Please provide a valid email address so you can be contacted with the join information. Registration closes at 12 PM ET on Thursday, January 21.
This will be the first in a two-part series on MAYDAYS.
Session information:
Don Abbott has studied and analyzed over 8000 MAYDAYS talking to the individual, the chiefs, listening to radio transmissions and viewing video. Don will share what some of the common denominators were preceding or causing the MAYDAY. Hearing this presentation will give you the initiative to further study the common elements of a MAYDAY and to apply them to your department to avoid your MAYDAY.
