We are looking forward to hosting FRI 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona August 19-21, 2020. Like you, we have been anxiously awaiting the time when we can reunite.
The safety of our attendees, staff, and volunteers is first and foremost in our minds as we prepare for our time together. We’ll be implementing many of the new standards that will be put in place to make the hotels, venues, and other public spaces as safe as possible.
While FRI 2020 will be different from past years, our aim remains the same: learning that is purposeful, challenging and engaging, providing opportunities to cultivate meaningful relationships, and supporting your advancement and sustained success.
You Have Risk-Free Options
Fully recognizing that every individual’s situation is in flux - the IAFC’s goal is to make it easier for you to attend FRI 2020. Once you register, if you’re not able to attend the live event, full refunds will be available if you cancel by August 1, 2020. You can also change your registration to the virtual experience or defer your registration to FRI 2021.
Whether we collaborate in-person or virtually - FRI 2020 will be here for you.
We are cautiously optimistic that FRI2020 will go on as scheduled, but we know the situation is very fluid. That’s why, for the first time ever, FRI is planning to offer a virtual event format to complement the in-person experience. This virtual experience will provide those unable to travel, access to educational resources on timely issues and the insights needed to keep their community safe.
Quality education has always been a hallmark of FRI 2020. Stand by for further details coming soon. Topics will be influenced by our current situation, but that won’t be our sole focus as we know the vast challenges of fire and EMS service go beyond COVID-19.
