Are children allowed in the Exhibit Hall?
All children under the age of 16 are admitted free into Hazmat exhibits and must be accompanied by an adult. Children must be registered and wear appropriate credentials. No children are permitted onto the exhibit floor during move in and move out of exhibits. Children will not be permitted into the general session or other meetings and educational events.
Does Hazmat have a conference app?

Will internet be available during the conference?
The Hazmat conference does not have internet in the meeting rooms. Internet is available complimentary in all guest rooms at the Hilton Baltimore.
What is the deadline to register for the conference?
There is not a deadline to register for the conference, however some preconference sessions do have capacity limits and may fill prior to the start of the conference. To ensure your seat, register before the start of the conference. You may register for the conference online through the last day of the conference, June 10, or onsite starting Wednesday, June 6.
Do I have to register in advance?
No. Onsite registration for participants opens on Wednesday, June 6 at 2 PM in the Key Ballroom East Foyer.
What does my registration fee include?
Registration for the Hazmat conference includes:
- Pre-con sessions on Thursday, June 8
- Full Conference Registration
- Access to the Exhibit Hall
- Networking Reception on Friday
- Two lunches provided in the Exhibit Hall
Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
Confirmations are sent via email for all registrations.
Will I be refunded if I have to cancel my registration?
All cancellations are subject to a $75 administrative fee. No refunds are made on or after May 7 or for no-shows. All cancellations must be made in writing and mailed, faxed 703-273-9363 or emailed, firstname.lastname@example.org to the IAFC. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.
Can I transfer my registration to another member of my department/staff?
Yes, registration may be transferred to another person in your organization by written request may be faxed to: 703-273-9363 or emailed: email@example.com to the IAFC prior to Tuesday, January 23, 2018. After this date, all changes must be made onsite. Additional charges may apply.

Hilton Baltimore (Headquarter Hotel)
A block of rooms has been secured at the Hilton Baltimore for $156 per night from June 4-10. Housing will open in 2018.

I have been contacted by a company trying to get me to book hotel rooms - is this legitimate?
The Hilton Baltimore, the Hyatt Regency and the Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor at Camden Yards are the only hotels with blocks the Hazmat conference has contracted with. We have received reports that companies are posing as the official housing vendor for the Hazmat conference and may contact you offering housing for your trip. They are not endorsed by or affiliated with the IAFC and entering into financial agreements with such companies can have costly consequences.
A hotel poacher/pirate is any unaffiliated hotel or third-party housing company that acts as an official housing company and solicits business from Hazmat participants. When individuals book hotel accommodations through poachers or pirates the consequences can be costly; event participants may be left without hotel rooms when they arrive at the event and incur fraudulent charges on their credit cards. What is included with my booth space?
Pipe and draping is only included with non-island space.The Ballroom is carpeted. Furniture and AV ordered through the Exhibitor Service Manual. Electric and internet is not included with your booth space but may be ordered through the Exhibitor Service Manual. All booths receive 2 full conference exhibitor badges and 2 exhibitor passes per 80 square feet.
