The IAFC Hazardous Materials Committee serves as the IAFC's subject matter expert regarding hazardous materials and dangerous goods. In that capacity, the committee monitors and identifies trends in the fire and emergency response community and industry regarding emergency response to hazardous materials incidents both nationally and internationally. In addition, the committee monitors and provides recommendations about the development of new equipment and associated training and tactics. The committee develops lessons learned from major incidents, advises the IAFC Board of Directors on policy issues relating to hazardous materials response, and works closely with Congress and federal agencies to ensure that federal law, regulations, and policies are written and implemented to meet the needs of the fire and emergency service and the communities they protect. Up to one hour virtual meeting.

Exclusively sponsor a day of live-streaming General Session content. This 2.5 hour stream will feature Virtual Hazmat’s hottest topics and speakers.
