The law that established FirstNet requires it to consult with federal, state/territory, tribal and local public-safety entities to ensure that the network is designed to meet public-safety needs across the country. Consultation will be a collaborative process and will incorporate enhancements and improvements as they develop. It's very important that fire and EMS chiefs participate in this process.
Get involved; contact your single point of contact (PDF) about participating in your consultation meetings. FirstNet will work through designated points of contact during the meetings to gather requirements for developing its network plan.

- Kentucky: Jan. 28
- Texas: Feb. 11
- Delaware: Feb. 19
- Wyoming: Feb. 25
- Arkansas: Mar. 4
- Massachusetts: Mar. 12
- Nebraska: Mar. 18-19
- Washington, D.C.: Mar. 26
- South Dakota: Apr. 1
- North Carolina: Apr. 23
- South Carolina: Apr. 29
