Answering Catastrophe Initiative

The Answering Catastrophe Initiative (ACI) is a strategic effort to strengthen local fire and emergency services and fill critical gaps in the United States’ national emergency response capability. This five-year initiative provides key tools, doctrine, training and support so departments can transition to a more resilient and common operational culture, becoming more effective during and after a national catastrophic event.

The ACI provides all the L-course series to a large department to transition its members into a mission-driven culture. Program providers will work with the department to evaluate their procedures, training and other needs.
