Regional Rail Response Training - Pittsburgh

Join the IAFC and industry experts for awareness-level training on responding to a rail incident with either hazardous materials or a passenger train.

This Regional Rail Response Training will be taught by the IAFC in association with the ALERT Grant from DOT PHMSA. This training is designed to bring local and regional agencies together to better understand response efforts and agency-specific roles should a train derailment or similar incident occur and to discuss unified and coordinated response activities to a train derailment.

What you’ll gain:

Experience in group exercises to reinforce the training concepts around a train-derailment scenario.

Eight hours of training credits towards your annual hazmat-training requirement through the IAFC Academy.
