Environmental Protection Agency
November 1 - 5, 2021 Online

Registration: FREE, Conference Website

The 2021 EPA Decon Conference is a bi-annual event that uniquely focuses on environmental decontamination, a critical challenge for all federal, state, and local agencies when responding to a chemical, biological, or radiological contamination incident. This event provides a space for those working in the emergency response and management fields to come together and learn about how to prepare and recover from such an incident as well as collaborate on these efforts. The conference is designed to facilitate presentation, discussion, and collaboration among the emergency response community with a focus on an all-hazards approach to cleaning up contaminated buildings and infrastructure. We are continuing to build-out our current agenda and have confirmed plenary speakers for each day, including presentations by CDC and their COVID-19 cleanup response of the Grand Princess cruise ship, a presentation by DHS CISA on current cybersecurity issues they are focusing on, a presentation on disaster forecasting and proactive response preparedness, among others.
