IAFC is piloting a series of redeveloped class offerings. Helping Members Find Their Spark Through Mentoring will help develop a new or existing mentoring program.

Class Information:

Class: Helping Members Find Their Spark Through Mentoring
Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025.
Class Time: 8 AM-5 PM with a break for lunch.
Location: Loudoun County Fire & Rescue HQ at 801 Sycolin Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175.

You will gain knowledge and learn the skills you need to develop a mentorship program, including:

  • Is a mentorship program right for your department.
  • Establishing a successful program.
  • Choosing and training mentors.
  • Aligning mentees with the right mentor.
  • Ensuring long-term success.
  • Troubleshooting common issues.

Come away with an improved understanding of how to establish and run a mentorship program.
