Session information:
Every firehouse has a Safety Officer story. Some are funny. Some are frustrating. Some changed lives forever. This month we're having an honest kitchen-table conversation about one of the toughest jobs in the fire service: earning respect while looking out for everyone else.
We'll explore what good Safety Officers actually do, why they matter to every firefighter, and how lessons learned from tragic incidents continue to shape today's fireground.
Logistics:
The 90-minute session will be held via Zoom on Thursday, July 16, beginning at 11:00 AM ET. There will be roughly 60-minutes of focused discussion, led by our guest speakers, followed by Q&A with session participants.
Registrants will receive a calendar invite with the join information within 24-48 hours of registering and no later than 10 AM on June 16. Please provide a valid email address so you can be contacted.
If the email address you submit includes any typos or an invalid domain, you may not receive the calendar appointment/join information for this session. Check your entry carefully as we cannot guarantee we will be able to correct any errors for you.
