ARA Safety Show your shared commitment to fitness in the fire service while also helping to raise money for scholarships for our future leaders.

The annual "Fit-to"Fight" 5K provides runners and walkers and runners with join to come together for 3.1 miles of good fun, good exercise and a good cause. Want a real challenge? Do the race in turnout gear!

Even if you aren't a member of the fire service, come join in the fun and show your support for our nation's heroes!

Date & Time: Saturday, August 29, 8am

Course: The race begins outside the Dallas Convention Center and wraps through the surrounding streets and through downtown Dallas.

Cost: Race registration is only $20 ($25 onsite) and includes a race day t-shirt and refreshments. Proceeds benefit the IAFC Foundation, providing scholarships to first responders for advancing their fire service education.

Awards: Prizes will be given to the top finisher in each age group. Cash prizes of $100 will be awarded to the top male and female finishers and to the first male and female to cross the finish line dressed in full protective structural firefighting gear and helmet (liner, boots and SCBA not required).

And new this year, there also will be prizes for the team with the most spirt and enthusiasm.
