Sharpen Your Edge. See Beyond the Horizon.
Leadership happens at the edge—where today's challenges become tomorrows opportunities.
Chief's Edge is an immersive, one-day leadership experience designed for fire and emergency service executives who want to strengthen strategic thinking, engage in meaningful peer discussions, and tackle the complex issues shaping the future of the profession.
Unlike traditional leadership programs, Chief's Edge has no predetermined curriculum. Attendees analyze case studies and scenarios, identify the real -world issues, challenges and opportunities confronting chief officers, with experienced faculty facilitating discussions and strategic thinking.
The program is offered annually as a preconference event at Fire-Rescue International (FRI) and is also presented at select national and regional leadership events.
