Exhibiting/Sponsorship Opportunities

Professional development forms the cornerstone of the IAFC membership experience. The IAFC produces several conferences and events, including Fire-Rescue International, our annual conference and expo with more than 500 exhibitors and 14,000 attendees, to specialized conferences focusing on hazmat, EMS, wildland and volunteer/combination officers. Let us help you determine which events throughout the year will best enable you to meet with key decision makers and grow relationships that lead to business success.

Other Ways to Support the IAFC

Grants

Corporate grants support critical IAFC initiatives within the fire service. One example is the Fireman’s Fund Heritage program, which supports local firefighters in building safer communities. The program awards funds to departments to buy needed equipment, provide training and support community fire service programs. Fireman’s Fund provided the initial grant that lead to the development of the National Fire Fighter Near-Miss Reporting System. The Near-Miss program was recognized with the 2009 Paul Sarbanes Fire Service Safety Leadership Award from the Congressional Fire Services Institute.

In 2008, the Motorola Foundation awarded a grant in the amount of $50,000 to the IAFC Foundation for the “Future Leaders Scholarship Fund.” This grant will provide funding that supports academic scholarships for future fire and emergency service leaders to pursue advanced degrees.

Cause-Related Marketing

The IAFC has partnered with Anheuser-Busch to develop public service advertisements targeted to parents. Prevent, Don’t Provide recognizes the important role parents and other adults play in the fight against underage drinking.

The IAFC also partnered with Jeep and its Everyday Heroes program to develop a national awareness campaign to reduce firefighter injuries. Working with the IAFC and leading fire service organizations, this campaign touched more than 100,000 firefighters.

McDonalds and the IAFC work together on a Fun Times Fire Safety booklet which is published every October and distributed to thousands of children nationwide.

Affinity (Member Discount) Program

The IAFC is a membership organization. As such, we have established guidelines to assist corporations who would like to offer a substantial, standing discount to IAFC members in exchange for marketing benefits.
