"The Sprinkler System Has Activated" - What Does The Incident Commander Do?

Join the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) to learn about strategies and operating tactics for buildings with activated sprinkler systems. Some have minimal experience in buildings where the sprinkler bell is ringing on the outside indicating water is flowing. A water flow alarm should be treated differently than a general fire alarm. Because alarms with an actual fire sprinkler system activation have been rare, they are becoming more common due to a 70% increase in the number of buildings being protected with fire sprinklers.
