Webinar: Achieving Excellence in Code Enforcement Programs
Join us Tuesday, August 26, at 2:00 PM ET for "Achieving Excellence in Code Enforcement Programs," a free webinar presented in partnership by the IAFC and the U.S. Fire Administration.
By tuning into this webinar you will hear how a local jurisdiction transformed their staffing-stressed department and “systemically broken” processes into a national award winning organization recognized for its high employee and customer satisfaction ratings. Webinar participants will learn how Kitsap County, Washington applied basic concepts of program evaluation, “lean” process management, and continuous improvement to transform their organization. Attendees will see how specific, customer focused performance metrics can be used to achieve immediate and lasting changes in their own work areas.
The presenter, David Lynam, is the Fire Marshal for Kitsap County with operational responsibility for the county’s Fire Marshal, Building Development, Engineering and Code Enforcement programs. David is a thirty-year veteran of the fire service, holds a Master of Business Administration degree, is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program, and provides training and support in developing performance evaluation tools for public agencies.
