IAFC Offers Storm Recovery Resources
November 2, 2012
The IAFC offers its sympathy and support to the many communities impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
The association has created an online storm response and recovery resource to support communities as they recover from the hurricane. It includes:
- Links to federal agency resources on Hurricane Sandy
- Positions, resources and reports on key issues such as mutual aid, responder and community safety, discouraging self-dispatch and more
- An opportunity to contribute your department SOPs and resources via IAFC KnowlegeNet
New resources will be added as they are identified. While we hope this will be of service to those departments currently impacted, we will continue to build on this foundation to support future storm preparedness and response.
