The Illness & Injury Prevention Award, sponsored by VFIS, recognizes excellence in developing and implementing an injury, illness, or vehicle safety prevention program. Fire Chief Scott Garing of the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services in Pa. will discuss his focus on public service and training, as well as his oversight of accomplishments in developing the Township's volunteer fire company strategic plan, leading to his selection as the 2025 recipient of the William F. Jenaway Illness and Injury Prevention Award.
