International Code Council invites building and fire officials to contribute valuable insights for developing resources

The International Code Council is seeking valuable insights from building and fire officials to support the development of resources that will enhance plan review, permitting, and inspection of hydrogen systems. To assist in this effort, we kindly ask for your help in sharing the Hydrogen Permitting and Safety Survey with your chapter members.

Whether or not you have previous experience with hydrogen projects, your insights are vital to improving permitting, plan review, and inspection processes for hydrogen deployment. This survey, conducted under a U.S. Department of Energy initiative, aims to identify challenges and resource needs related to hydrogen deployment. By participating, respondents will help shape solutions to streamline permitting processes and ensure safety in future hydrogen projects.

As a token of appreciation, participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win one of 25 $100 gift cards. Surveys must be completed by 5/30/25 to be eligible for drawing.
