VCOS has again partnered with Deccan International to offer a data grant program exclusively for VCOS member departments. The Deccan Application “Analyst” enables departments to easily view and analyze their historical call data, delivering dashboards and reports on demand. Interested departments may apply for this grant program. A volunteer/combination department will be selected to receive an Analyst Application developed and deployed by Deccan International.
Grant winners are chosen by identifying departments with access to their CAD Data and a financial need for grant assistance to purchase an analytics platform. The department must submit a narrative describing how it plans to use its data.
Application period: July 7 to August 29, 2025 at 6 PM EST.

The department selected for the Analyst Grant Award will receive registration and travel expenses for one representative to attend the VCOS Symposium in the Sun in Clearwater Beach, Florida. A functional ANALYST application will require an interface with a data source. Some data providers (RMS, CAD providers) may require a fee for a data connection. Any costs associated with an external data connection are the responsibility of the grant award winner.
