Federal and Military Fire Services Section Members Take Oath of Office for Their Position on the Section Board During Annual Meeting
This past week at Fire-Rescue International, the International Association of Fire Chief’s (IAFC) Federal Military Section conducted a swearing in
ceremony, presided by Chief Roy Robichaux, IAFC Board of Directors Advocate to the Fed Mil Section during its Annual Meeting:
- Shane Crutcher, Fire Chief, National Park Service was sworn in and will serve as the IAFC’s Federal Military Section Chair.
- Todd Canale, Fire Chief, Davis-Monthan AFB Fire and Emergency Services was sworn in as the IAFC’s Federal and Military Fire Services Section Space Force Director.
- Robert Kerchief, Assistant Chief, Davis Mothan Fire and Emergency Services was sworn in and will serve as the IAFC’s Federal and Military Fire Services Section Air Force Director.
- Julien Crolet, Deputy Chief, Fort Belvoir Fire and Emergency Services was sworn in and will serve as the IAFC’s Federal and Military Fire Service Section Army Director.
During the Annual Meeting, the newly sworn in members reviewed recent feedback obtained from membership surveys, discussed how to improve the membership experience, discussed plans to increase training efforts and opportunities, as well as increase opportunities to associate with members.
The board is looking forward to progressing the annual work plan and bringing more value to all section members.
