The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) congratulates Deputy Chief (Ret.) Robert Marshall on receiving the 2026 Excellence in Fire & Life Safety Award.
Presented in partnership with the International Code Council (ICC), the award recognizes exceptional leadership and contributions to fire prevention, code development, community risk reduction, and public safety.
Throughout his career, Chief Marshall has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing fire and life safety through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration at the local, state, national, and international levels. His service with the IAFC Fire & Life Safety Section and the ICC Fire Code Action Committee has helped strengthen fire safety practices, support the development of effective codes and standards, and advance efforts to create safer communities.
The IAFC recognizes Chief Marshall for his dedicated service to the fire and emergency service and congratulates him on this well-deserved honor.
