“No symptoms at all… I wasn’t feeling bad. I wasn’t having trouble swallowing. No heartburn… Nothing.” - Lt. Kevin McFarland, Violet Township Fire Department

Meet Lt. McFarland, a lifelong firefighter and fitness junkie whose stage 1 esophageal cancer was found with help from the Galleri® multi-cancer early detection blood test. He’s joining this webinar to share his story.

In this session:

  • Join the conversation with Lt. Kevin McFarland and hear his cancer screening story
  • Learn about screening for many deadly cancers with a single blood test
  • Find out about the testing process used by fire and police departments nationwide

Rx only. The Galleri test should be used in addition to healthcare provider-recommended screening tests. The Galleri test does not detect a signal for all cancers, and not all cancers can be detected in the blood. False positive and false negative results do occur. The Galleri test is a screening test and does not diagnose cancer. Diagnostic testing is needed to confirm cancer.

The overall sensitivity in study participants with esophageal cancer was 85.0% (12.5% for stage I, 64.7% stage II, 94.1% stage III, 100% stage IV).
