Because of the importance of the company officer position in the fire service, it's imperative that these individuals receive ongoing support through mentorships and other learning opportunities to enhance their skill set in the 21st-century fire service.
In order to continue and enhance our current initiatives, we're currently seeking your chief’s support in the formation of a Company Officer Leadership Section. As a committee, we have no budget and find it difficult to accomplish many of our desired initiatives without a more formalized structure and revenue stream.
It is important to gain the support of progressive chiefs because only regular and associate members can vote to create a section. Please encourage your IAFC Regular Member chief to sign up for the company officer section through this survey link.
