The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has announced that the FY 2014 Assistance to Firefighters Grant application period will open Monday, November 3, at 8 AM EST, and will close on Friday, December 5, at 5 PM EST.

SAM.gov Registration Required to Submit Your FY 2014 AFG Application
All eligible AFG applicants must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) before they can submit applications. FEMA will not make an award until the entity has provided a valid DUNS number and maintained an active SAM registration with current information.
To register or validate your information, visit the SAM portal. If you have questions or concerns about your SAM registration, contact the Federal Support desk.
