The IAFC Foundation, in partnership with the National Fire & EMS Exploring Office, coordinates the Explorer scholarship award to assist young men and women in pursuing a career in the fire sciences or another related academic program. The recipients this year are well-rounded and active in their respective fire departments, schools, and communities.

According to Anthony P. Campisi, IAFCF President and President/CEO of Glatfelter Insurance Group, "We are delighted to provide these Fire & EMS Explorer Scholarships to assist our young men and women in their pursuit of a career in the fire and emergency services. These youths represent the future of the fire and emergency services, and it's imperative that we assist them in their quest to serve and protect our communities."

"On behalf of the National Fire & EMS Exploring Committee, I wish to congratulate all of the recipients. In addition, I would like to thank the IAFC Foundation and the supporting organizations for their generosity," Nyle Zikmund, Committee Chairman.

The IAFC Foundation provides scholarships that allow fire and EMS first responders to access the advanced learning opportunities necessary to prepare for today's complex world. The scholarship awards made by the IAFC Foundation impact the fire service and communities by providing first responders with the educational opportunities they need to lead the fire service and serve and protect our citizens.
