International Association of Fire Chiefs
The Giving Tree

As Chief Officers we always give, give, give. This book reminds us of self awareness and creating balance in our lives as leaders. Act out of love, say please and thank you, don't always take unless you are going to give. There are so many good lessons to be learned from this simple book. While I know it has been banned from some reading lists, for a variety of reasons. I choose to see the good in this book and the good in people. Enjoy a short, simple read that's good for the heart and soul of any leader.
