Resources for residents that explain what a red-flag warning is, when/why they occur, and what they should/shouldn’t do. Red-flag warnings occur during high-fire danger days, so they’re happening all over the country right now.

National Action Guide

For firefighters to use as a tool when engaging residents. The National Action Guide introduces the residents to the concept of the wildland-ember interface, ember threat, etc. and then goes through all of the steps they could and should be doing during different fire danger levels, through evacuation.
