IAFC's VCOS and Vector Solutions Are Teaming Up to Present the Annual Award for Outstanding Performance by a Training Officer
The IAFC's Volunteer and Combination Officers Section and Vector Solutions are teaming up for the 12th straight year to present the 2025 Training Officer Recognition Award, which acknowledges outstanding performance by a training officer.

The 2025 Training Officer Recognition Award
The winner of this award will receive free registration to the 2025 Fire-Rescue International event in Orlando, round-trip airfare to the conference, and a three-night hotel stay. They will also be recognized at the VCOS section meeting and receive a plaque commemorating their award.
Important Dates to Remember
- Nomination period runs now through June 20
- The winner will be announced in early July
- FRI is scheduled Aug. 13-15 in Orlando, FL
What Is Required for Nomination?
- Nominees should be chiefs, training officers, or others involved with training
- Nominees should demonstrate innovative methods for training
- Nominees must be an IAFC member, or come from a department where the department or the chief of the department is an active IAFC member
