VCOS Symposium 2020 is Canceled, Virtual Options Coming Soon
The Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS) Board has made the difficult decision, acting out of an abundance of caution for the safety and health of our attendees, exhibitors, customers and staff, to cancel the 2020 VCOS Symposium in the Sun.
The Symposium in the Sun conference program planning committee, the VCOS Board, and the IAFC staff, have spent the last year planning for another successful Symposium in the Sun. They are disappointed not to be able to bring everyone together in person; however, the importance and value of this conference have not been lost and plans are currently in the works to develop a virtual event, dates and details about #VirtualVCOSSun will be shared via email, social media, and the VCOS Symposium in the Sun website as they are developed.
Registration Refund or Transfer
All currently registered attendees have three options regarding their existing registration funds:
- Defer your current registration to Symposium in the Sun 2021, November 11-14.
- Donate your funds to the IAFC, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, allowing the IAFC to continue to support VCOS programs and the communities they serve.
- Request a full refund. Please allow up to 60 days for the refund request to be processed.
Complete this survey with your preferred registration option by September 15.
Please cancel your Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa reservations on-line via the confirmation you received or by calling 1-800 HILTONS (1-800-445-8667) at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Should you choose to keep your reservation at the hotel, the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa will honor your reservation at the conference rate.
Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions. We will continue to work to answer your inquiries, but due to a high volume of emails, please allow for a slightly delayed reply.
VCOS Symposium in the Sun Attendee Survey Results
The VCOS recently asked if you would
complete a survey for us as we are planning
Symposium in the Sun. The major purpose
of the survey was to gather responses to
determine what changes might need to be
made as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 275 responses were received, and we want to share
some of the results with you.
