Due to a vacancy in the first vice president position, the IAFC Board of Directors on June 14 unanimously approved the following appointments through August 11, 2018:
- Chief Dan Eggleston, current second vice president and unopposed candidate for president and chairman of the board, was appointed first vice president.
- Chief Gary Ludwig, unopposed candidate for first vice president, was appointed second vice president.
Congratulations to Chief Eggleston and Chief Ludwig for assuming their new positions.
