March 17 Update: VCOS Symposium in the Spring is Canceled

After due diligence, developing circumstances, and in light of the recent Centers for Disease Control issued guidelines regarding all gatherings over 50 people to protect their health and safety we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 VCOS Symposium in the Spring planned for April 30 – May 2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The VCOS Section has spent the last year planning for another successful VCOS Spring Conference, and we are genuinely disappointed not to be able to bring everyone together to tackle the unique needs of volunteer leadership in the fire service. However, the safety and health of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff are top priority.

Attendees:
  1. We can automatically transfer your registration to the VCOS Spring May 6-8, 2021 conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  2. We can process a full refund of any monies paid to date. Refunds will be processed to the form of payment that was used when making the registration.

Please contact conferences@iafc.org to let us know if you would like to transfer or cancel. We will continue to work to answer your queries, but due to a high volume of emails, please allow for a slightly delayed reply.

Exhibitors and sponsors:

  1. We can automatically transfer your contracts to the VCOS Spring May 6-8, 2021 conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  2. We can process a full refund of any monies paid to date.

Please contact Tracy Blankenship to let us know if you would like to transfer or cancel.

Our team will continue to work diligently to ensure all details are communicated appropriately and we thank you for your patience. Thank you to everyone who helps to make this event possible year after year, and we look forward to a successful VCOS Symposium in the Spring Conference in 2021.
