IAFC has received funding through a DHS/FEMA/AFG/FP&S grant to provide support for roadside and community chipping programs.
A maximum of $20,000 per department is available to help RSG! members cover the cost of department staffing, equipment rentals, and/or contractual services. This funding cannot be used on equipment purchases or fuels reduction work performed on property (limbing, cutting).
Members who receive funding must comply with all the provisions of Title 2 CFR 200. Community fuels reduction work and all necessary reporting must be completed no later than August 20, 2022. No extensions will be granted.

If you have been awarded chipper grant funds from the RSG! Program in the last 18 months you may apply for additional funding as long as your total awarded amount will not exceed $30,000.
